Liriope spicata is a semi-evergreen perennial with narrow, curved, dark green leaves. It tolerates heat, drought, and heavy shade. It spreads and can be used as erosion control on banks and slopes or as a border under trees or around shrubs. This plant can grow nearly 2 feet tall and 2 feet wide. Liriope spicata is also deer and rabbit-resistant.
